On Saturday, Lego released its latest set of Lego submarine sets, the Reactor Reactor Set, to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.
The set features a variety of new Lego features like underwater robots and a new version of the Lego submarine set, with the Reaper.
“The Reactor is a classic submarine that was designed in 1954 and the Re-Reactor Set is a new Lego version of it that was built in 2016,” Lego said.
Lego Reactor Sets are a collaboration between Lego and the American manufacturer.
In addition to the Reapers, Lego’s newest submarine sets feature an entirely new design of the submarine that is a little more modern.
Each Reactor features a number of new features, like a redesigned hull and new sensors.
It also features a new “Skeleton” mode that allows you to take apart the ship and rebuild it, which Lego said was inspired by the real-life ship the Titanic.
“We’re thrilled to share the ReACTOR Reactor with the world,” said Matt West, senior vice president of business development and global marketing for Lego.
A new version is a “miniaturized, modular version of a classic Lego set,” according to Lego.
“The ReACTORS Reactor sets are the latest in a long line of Lego sets based on the original Reactor model, which includes Reactor 3, the first-ever submarine model.”
The original Re-actor set, Reactor 1, was built for a different time, and it took over half a century for Lego to complete the entire Reactor family,” West added.
