Posted October 26, 2018 01:00:56 A lot of PC gamers are asking themselves what kind of future is in store if the PlayStation 4 Pro is launched with a new console that will launch in 2021.
We asked Microsoft if the PS4 is heading into the “final phase” of its lifecycle, and the answer is no.
A lot will change in the next decade, but Microsoft doesn’t expect the PS5 to be the final system.
Microsoft’s Doug Lombardi said, “I think that if you look at what’s going on right now, the PSX is a good example of a system that’s been able to survive for over two decades.”
There are many competing systems in the market, including PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Xbox One and Nintendo both have a lot of competition.
Microsoft will have to decide if it wants to keep a legacy PS4 or a new PSX, but the company has said it will stay true to its mission to deliver great games to gamers.
“It’s not a game console,” Microsoft told Gamasutra.
“We’re building a game system that will help people enjoy games for years to come.”
The Xbox One X is more powerful, and it comes with a much better CPU.
It also has the biggest gaming camera ever.
