Tommasi Tancreddi is a player whose future could be decided by Juventus on Wednesday.
The Italian side are keen to add to their squad for the season ahead and the 24-year-old is being tracked by several Premier League sides.
He was part of the Italy Under-21 squad that won the Euro 2016 tournament in France and was part-exiled in London to train with Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Tancreddis contract with Turin expires at the end of the season and it is understood he will not be able to leave for a new club for at least a year.
Tarcridi, however, could be allowed to leave if he does not qualify for next season’s Serie A.
According to The Times, Tancredo’s agent, Giovanni Giannini, believes the player is ready to make the step up to the top flight and that he is keen to return to Serie A for the first time in five years.
The player’s contract with Juventus expires at their end of season deadline on Wednesday and the Bianconeri are prepared to offer him a lucrative new deal, should he leave.
The former Torino defender joined Juventus in 2013, where he won three Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia titles, before he signed a five-year deal with the Biancoli last summer.
