Disney World is making its first official bid to build a $100 million underwater attraction at its theme park in 2019.
The underwater ride is scheduled to open October 25th, 2019.
Disney’s 2018 Theme Park Plan, published in October, outlined plans for a “Sea-Monkey,” which would have a “deep diving” adventure and a “discovery” ride.
Disney is also seeking a “Titanic”-style attraction.
Disneyland is set to open in 2019, but Disney has yet to reveal plans for its second incarnation of the popular attraction.
The theme park will be located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park in Orlando, Florida.
The Disney Theme Park Company has made a lot of waves recently with its purchase of DreamWorks Animation.
Disney and DreamWorks have had some very controversial decisions lately, and there have been some rumors floating around the company.
Disney has not officially commented on any of those rumors.
Disney has been working on a new theme park that will open in 2020 and is expected to open sometime in 2021.
