By now, you’re probably thinking about the upcoming debut of the new submarine.
But when it comes to the new pump-jet submarine, it’s just the latest in a long line of toys that have been released over the years.
In fact, the only new toy that has been released in the last 20 years is the submarine pictured above, the original “D” model from the 1970s.
And while that model was released as part of the “Submarine Adventures” line, the new model has been in development since 2002, when the model was designed by renowned toy designer Rick Owens.
That means it’s been years and years of development, and it’s one of the first pump-jets to be built by the US Navy.
It’s also one of just a handful of new toy submarines to come out in the years since the D model was retired.
So why is the new design so popular?
Well, let’s break down the basics: Pump-jet submarines are incredibly accurate, with the exception of the ones that were built in the 1970.
This is partly due to the fact that the water in the engine room is cooled with coolant and the exhaust ports are all sealed.
However, the engine has also been redesigned to reduce noise, improve durability, and reduce drag, all of which means it will perform like it was designed for.
The result is a model that looks almost exactly like the original, albeit in a much quieter, more powerful, and more efficient package.
One of the most obvious changes is that the hull is no longer built around the hull of the existing submarine.
Instead, the hull can be replaced with a more flexible composite that’s more rigid and lighter, and has a different look to the hull from the D design.
Additionally, the watertight design of the hull and engine has meant that there’s less room for any leaks or leaksy parts.
Finally, the entire hull has been replaced with an integrated sub-sail.
“The new submarine is built around a new hull, redesigned engine, and new propulsion system, allowing the submarine to be more maneuverable and able to operate in the harsh conditions of the North Atlantic,” said US Navy Undersea Warfare Command (USSOCOM) Undersea Technology Director Scott Mankin in a statement.
According to Owens, the submarine has been built with a specific goal in mind: “I wanted the boat to have the best characteristics of the D submarine, which is the only one to have been built by any US Navy vessel.
And I wanted to create a boat that would give the D and the other pumps the best chance to achieve that goal.
My goal was to get the boat as close to the D as possible, so I did not design the boat around the design.
I designed it with the goal of building the boat with the most flexibility possible.”
“It’s a tremendous achievement to be able to do this.
I can’t think of another one of these boats that is as accurate and accurate, and as close as it is to the original D. That makes me extremely proud of this boat,” Owens said.
