An electric submarine is set to be sold to a collector for more than $10 million.
The “seaweed” model, which was designed by Rolex, was bought by a former Navy sailor who wanted to make it his personal submarine, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.
The new owner has said he is not interested in the submarine and plans to sell it at auction.
The new owner, who has not been named, plans to buy a new, smaller, model and sell it for more, the Chronicle reported.
He has said that he has no plans to retire the submarine, and it was designed to remain afloat for more years.
The former sailor told the Chronicle that he hopes to sell the submarine for a “fair” price.
